in Windows Vista

Windows Vista has a number of features. Some of them may be activated by default and might not be required by the user. Since these features unnecessarily utilizes memory and reduce your system’s performance, they should be disabled to speed up Vista. For disabling these features, just follow the simple steps given below.

1.First open ‘Control Panel’.
2.Then open ‘Programs and Features’.
3.Click the ‘Turn Windows features on or off’ link on the left pane. 4.In the ‘Windows Features’ dialog box(which shows a list of both activated and deactivated features of your system), clear the checkboxes of the features that you don’t require.
5.Click ‘OK’ to save the changes.
